Quote: | That was some array of skyscrapers on 7. Then after an x-wing and a couple of xy-wings it broke out. |
Good puzzle |

I appreciate the "dedication" and as mentioned in the Daily Puzzle forum, I thought this was most excellent. For me several ER's and x-wings. Almost gave up at one point.
As Elvis would say "Thang ya, thang ya very much - 'ppreciate" |

Craig: I do not mean to exclude anyone with my No series of puzzles -- especially since most should be right up your alley for solving. If you haven't already tried them, then please check them out. You may certainly ignore the No part when posting your solutions, which are indeed welcome |

daj: I tried most of your numbers 1 to 9 but gave up each time. After your post above, I tried the latest, No. 14 and, like the others, I flew through the basics and then got stuck with relatively few unsolved cells left. In this case I even looked for the verbotten x-wings but couldn't find any. Seems all the solutions require logic chains (not colouring) which go over my head.
Cheers, Craig |

This was a real great puzzle to spend a lazy morning on (well, not quite the whole morning, but a very pleasant hour )
An x-wing (9) rows 3 and 7, a skyscraper (cols 5 and 9) and several other coloring eliminations in 7, and an xy-wing (79-17-19) in the lower floor which makes r7c2<>9. Hidden single 9 in r3c2 and all singles after that. |
