Don't know what Keith did, but I used an XY-Chain extended (transported) by a single strong link:
(6=5)r7c2 - (5=4)r5c2 - (4=8)r5c6 - (8=6)r8c6 - (6)r8c3=(6)r2c3; r3c2|r8c3<>6
