I'd call that a w-wing.
Two identical bi-value cells (57), each sees one end of a strong link (5 in row 1). Remove 7 from all cells that see both pincers (r4c5) |

I agree the "11-7 Competition" offered no real competition. I spotted the skyscraper on <8> which also was sufficient to complete the puzzle.
