There is an X-Wing which looks like all that's needed. I used a Kite and got two uses from a W-Wing: once with a direct elimination and again with pincer transport. This was my position after basics:
Code: |
+------------+-------------+-----------+
| 5 2 467 | 3 4789 149 | 89 17 46 |
| 467 9 8 | 5 2 14 | 37 137 46 |
| 1 3 47 | 79 4789 6 | 89 2 5 |
+------------+-------------+-----------+
| 38 78 1 | 6 37 2 | 4 5 9 |
| 2 6 349 | 79 5 349 | 37 8 1 |
| 349 47 5 | 1 3479 8 | 6 37 2 |
+------------+-------------+-----------+
| 367 1 367 | 2 369 39 | 5 4 8 |
| 489 5 49 | 48 1 7 | 2 6 3 |
| 36 48 2 | 48 36 5 | 1 9 7 |

My grid, after basics, is the same as Marty's.
There is a Type-4 UR <89>.
Ther are two X-wings on <3>: In R49 and C36. Remarkably, they do not make the same eliminations.
There is a W-wing <47> which takes out <4> in R5C3.

The clear and present x-wings on <3> do it in. |
