This DB offered multiple paths. But a skyscraper <8> with an extended arm to eliminate the <8> in R4C5 is a direct route home.

PS My skyscraper is probably invalid, copy error, senior moment, etc. Anyone out there find an alternate single step solution?

Three skyscrapers, taking out:

<4> in R4C6
<3> in R7C2
<8> in R1C7

Also, the last move could be a BUG+1.

Earl, I do not see your skyscraper.

The <8> skyscraper is R1C37, R6C57. R1C3 can be extended to R4C2, which is then a pincer with R6C5 eliminating <8> from R4C5, and puzzle is solved.

Earl,

I'd agree with you, except I have an <8> in R1C9. So, there is not a pair of <8>'s in R1.

Ooops! I dont know how I got rid of that <8> in R1C9. Probably an oversight that happens to agree with the solution. I do not now see a single step solution.
