Norm,

Yes, but it can be done with the normal array of wings used in VH puzzles.

I used a sashimi swordfish on 3,
a x-wing 7, and
a xy-wing 79-8 with extended pincer.

I also noted some other moves but they were not needed for my ultimate solution path.
