My first two moves did the deed.
Quote:
w-wing 13 with pincer in r2c7 and r7c3 and strong link 1 in row3,
Remote Pair 13 from r5c1 to r9c8 via box6

Ted, your Remote Pair can be viewed as a one-stepper.

Code:
 after basics:
 one of r7c79 must be <8>, WHICH MEANS ...
 the other cell doesn't contain <8>; alternately ...
 General Remote Pair abcdef linked by <3> => r89c1<>1

 |  7     5     4     |  138   6     138   |  13    9     2     |
 |  6     3     19    |  49    2     5     |  18    7     148   |

Of course, this makes my solution completely suck! Very Happy

Code:
 <18> UR r37c79:

 (3)r7c79 = r9c8 - r4c8 = r5c9 - (3=1)r5c1 - r6c3 ...
 ...      = r1c2 - (1=9)r3c3 - (9=4)r3c4 - (4)r3c9 = <18> UR

Danny, I appreciate the credit for the one-stepper but I missed it completely, including transporting the 1 in r9c8 to r7c3.
