Two-stepper:

After basics:
Code:
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 36    12    5     | 12346 123   2349  | 7     139   8     |
| 368   7     123   | 12368 1238  239   | 4     139   5     |
| 9     18    4     | 138@  5     7     | 13@   2     6     |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 38    128   123   | 7     4     23    | 5     6     9     |
| 7     6     23    | 5     9     8     | 12-3  4     123   |
| 5     4     9     | 23#   6     1     | 8     7     23#   |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 4     3     6     | 128   128   5     | 9     18    7     |
| 12    5     7     | 9     138   6     | 123   138   4     |
| 12    9     8     | 134   7     34    | 6     5     123   |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+

Skyscraper eliminates 3 in R5C7. Leading to:
Code:
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 36   12   5    | 1246 123  249  | 7    19   8    |
| 68   7    123  | 68   123  29   | 4    19   5    |
| 9    18   4    | 18   5    7    | 3    2    6    |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 38   128  123  | 7    4    23   | 5    6    9    |
| 7    6    23   | 5    9    8    | 12%  4    123% |
| 5    4    9    | 23   6    1    | 8    7    23   |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 4    3    6    | 12   12   5    | 9    8    7    |
| 12%  5    7    | 9    8    6    | 12%  3    4    |
| 12%  9    8    | 34   7    34   | 6    5    12%  |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
DP 12 means R5C9 is 3.

Congratulations Keith and Ted Exclamation

Somehow, I had it in my head that an ugly grouped 2-String Kite was needed for an elimination in <3> after the Skyscraper.

You caught me sleeping at the wheel Embarassed

Maybe tomorrow's puzzle will be more of a challenge.

Regards, Danny

Thank you Danny. Lately, inclusive this one, you have constructed some beautiful two-steppers where even my simplified technique has problems
