Well, my first (and probably the only) pass was a BBDBer.
kite 9,
ER 9,
repeat of first kite 9 with a pincer transport,
coloring 9
multi-coloring 9, (Believe me I looked for other deletions but only digit 9 worked)
xyz-wing -369,
w-wing 19,
long AIC found by extending the vertex of a potential xy-wing -469,
coloring 3

As hard as I looked, I couldn't find a W-Wing on 39. I used a Kite (9), two ERs (9,9), XY-Wing (369) with pincer transport and a W-Wing on 19. |

after basics, Dan appears to have left out

My solver used:
Code: | r2c2 2-String Kite <> 9 r4c4
c8b5 turbot fish/ER <> 9 r8c6
<69+3> XYZ-Wing r7c6/r7c9+r8c6 <> 3 r7c5
r7c5 2-String Kite <> 3 r1c9
-1r5c1 9r5c1 9r2c4 1r2c7 [gM-Wing ] <> 1 r5c7 -or-
-9r2c4 1r2c4 1r5c7 9r5c1 [ W-Wing ] <> 9 r2c1
+--------------------------------------------------------------+
| 469 469 7 | 13 39 2 | 5 8 16 |
| 6-9 8 5 | a19 4 7 | b13 36 2 |
| 3 2 1 | 8 6 5 | 9 4 7 |
|--------------------+--------------------+--------------------|
| 8 149 3469 | 36 7 39 | 2 5 139 |
| d19 5 369 | 2 8 4 | c13 7 169 |
| 2 7 369 | 369 5 1 | 8 369 4 |
|--------------------+--------------------+--------------------|
| 1456 146 8 | 45 19 369 | 7 2 39 |
| 57 16 2 | 57 139 36 | 4 39 8 |
| 479 3 49 | 47 2 8 | 6 1 5 |
+--------------------------------------------------------------+
# 53 eliminations remain
|
Sorry for using the abbreviated output from my solver, but I have a piece of pie getting cold! |

A "6" in r1c9 makes it a one stepper. (One of the "6's" in block C)
The same with "4" in r9c3 (One of the "4's" in column 3) |
