Well, my first (and probably the only) pass was a BBDBer.

kite 9,
ER 9,
repeat of first kite 9 with a pincer transport,
coloring 9
multi-coloring 9, (Believe me I looked for other deletions but only digit 9 worked)
xyz-wing -369,
w-wing 19,
long AIC found by extending the vertex of a potential xy-wing -469,
coloring 3

As hard as I looked, I couldn't find a W-Wing on 39. I used a Kite (9), two ERs (9,9), XY-Wing (369) with pincer transport and a W-Wing on 19.

after basics, Dan appears to have left out

Code:
 Kite r4c4<>9 ... leading to ... turbot fish r8c6<>9

 |  469   469   7     |  139   39    2     |  5     8     136   |
 |  69    8     5     |  139   4     7     |  13    36    2     |

A "6" in r1c9 makes it a one stepper. (One of the "6's" in block C)
The same with "4" in r9c3 (One of the "4's" in column 3)
