Looks to be another unreasonable one.

Actually, very reasonable.

I got here after the er or skyscraper 6:

The Wing is pivoted in r9c4 and the Hidden UR on 59 is because the 5 is a strong link in both c2 and r3, eliminating the 9 from r3c2.

Or, the W-wing 26 with pincer transport takes out 2 in R2C2, eventually leaving an XY-wing 2-46.

Thanks. xy-wings with a weak link (both pinchers can be 2) throw me every time. Nice find!

Keith, I don't see it. I see it taking out the 2 from r6c8 but can't see further transport.

Marty,

I should have been more precise.

After basics:
Code:
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 2469# 2459  246   | 26@   8     59    | 1     3     7     |
| 3     27    267   | 4     26    1     | 5     89    89    |
| 89    589   1     | 7     39    359   | 2     4     6     |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 124   2347  2347  | 9     12367 367   | 8     5     1234  |
| 12489 6     2348  | 5     123   38    | 349   7     12349 |
| 1289  23789 5     | 28    1237  4     | 369   1269  1239  |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 5     248   9     | 3     467   678   | 467   1268  1248  |
| 468#  348   3468  | 1    4-679  2     | 34679 689   5     |
| 7     1    234-68 | 68@   5     689   | 3469  2689  23489 |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
The SS takes out 6 as shown, leading to:
Code:
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 2469  2459  246   | 26    8     59    | 1     3     7     |
| 3     27    267   | 4     26    1     | 5     89    89    |
| 89    589   1     | 7     39    359   | 2     4     6     |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 124   2347  2347  | 9     12367 367   | 8     5     1234  |
| 12489 6     2348  | 5     123   38    | 349   7     12349 |
| 1289  23789 5     | 28#   1237  4     | 369  1-26   1239  |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 5     248   9     | 3     467   678   | 467   126   1248  |
| 468   348   3468  | 1     479   2     | 3479  89    5     |
| 7     1     2348  | 68@   5     689   | 3469  26#   23489 |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
An XY-wing takes out 2 in R6C8, then:
Code:
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 2469  2459  246   | 26@   8     59    | 1     3     7     |
| 3    -27    267   | 4     26a   1     | 5     89    89    |
| 89    589   1     | 7     39    359   | 2     4     6     |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 124   2347  2347  | 9     12367 367   | 8     5     1234  |
| 12489 6     2348  | 5     123   38    | 349   7     12349 |
| 1289  23789 5     | 28    1237  4     | 369   16    1239  |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
| 5     248d  9     | 3     467   678   | 467   126c  148   |
| 468   348   3468  | 1     479   2     | 3479  89    5     |
| 7     1     2348  | 68@   5     689   | 3469  26b   3489  |
+-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
a and b are the W-wing pincers. b is extended via c to d, eliminating 2 in R2C2. More basics lead to:
Code:
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 249  2459 246  | 26   8    59   | 1    3    7    |
| 3    7    26   | 4    26   1    | 5    89   89   |
| 89   589  1    | 7    39   359  | 2    4    6    |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 124  234  7    | 9    1236 36   | 8    5    1234 |
| 1249 6    38   | 5    12   38   | 49   7    1249 |
| 1289 2389 5    | 28   7    4    | 369  16   1239 |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 5    28   9    | 3    46   7    | 46#  12   18   |
| 6    348  38   | 1    49   2    | 7    89   5    |
| 7    1    24#  | 68   5    689  |3-469 26@ 3-49  |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
where another XY-wing solves it.

Marty, thank you for prompting me to go back and take another look at this one.

Keith

Keith, I can see that. When I read your original comments I was looking at a grid with more 2s remaining in box 9.
