I have no idea of what Dan's one-step move is, but I've used a half-dozen moves and am at a brick wall. A thick brick wall.

There is a 18 w-wing that will remove the 1 in r2c3 -- should get you going.

No surprise. This is a very difficult puzzle.

I don't see Dan's W-Wing, but there's a <72> gM-Wing.

Code:
 also a single stepper for puzzle
 (7=2)r8c1 - r9c3 = (2-7)r9c6 = (7)r2c6  =>  r2c1<>7
 +--------------------------------------------------------------+

 |  1     5    b23    |  38    78   c237   |  6     9     4     |

 # 46 eliminations remain

/16 (B) and /16 (C) are probably difficult as well.

w-wing 18

My mistake!!! There are six more eliminations in Marty's grid than the one I was using.

Another one stepper.

(3=2)r9c3 - (2=7)r8c1 - r2c1 = (7-3)r2c6 = (3)r2c4; r9c4<>3.

Easy to spot after I know there's one there. I hate to tell you how much time I spent in vain looking for a 18 W-Wing. Embarassed
