I searched in a different order on this puzzle and used a total of six steps including a couple of infrequent ones.
skyscraper on 2 in r58c1,
finned x-wing 8 in r37c69,
xyz 357 in r3c1,
sashimi x-wing 7 in r35c18,
m-wing (2=7)r5c1 - r5c8 = r9c8 - (7=2)r8c9,
xy-wing -279 with vertex 79 in r7c2 and pincer 29 a pseudocell in r6c27.
After looking at Dan's post, I realized I only needed two of my six moves to complete the puzzle; the xyz-wing and the xy-wing. Guess I will return to my regular search order........
