I used two steps Code: | w-wing 34
*-----------------------------------------------------------*
| 8 1 3 | 5 47 9 | 2 467 67 |
| 9 6 5 | 2 1 47 | 37 347 8 |
| 24 24 7 | 6 3 8 | 5 9 1 |
|-------------------+-------------------+-------------------|
| 7 5 9 | 1 6 3 | 4 8 2 |
| 34 8 6 | 9 2 47 | 1 357 357 |
| 1 34 2 | 8 47 5 | 6 37 9 |
|-------------------+-------------------+-------------------|
| 6 23 8 | 4 9 12 | 37 1357 357 |
| 5 7 1 | 3 8 6 | 9 2 4 |
| 23 9 4 | 7 5 12 | 8 136 36 |
*-----------------------------------------------------------*
(3)r7c2 = (3-4)r6c2 = (4-7)r6c5 = r1c5 - (7=6)r1c9 - (6=3)r9c9; r7c789,r9c1<>3

Dan, what did you use to get to that grid? I've done basics and an x-wing and I'm not even close to that point. |

| 2345 9 348 | 7 58 12 | 368 1346 1346 |

Dear Dan
"4" in r5c6 gives a one step chain.
I like your puzzles especially when they are impossible to solve with just one chain. Makes it more interesting when there are dead ends and a neccessity to start a secondary chain

Thanks, Danny. D'oh! I'm a little embarrassed I missed that first one. Always seems SO obvious when somebody points it out to you, doesn't it! |
