I found two three step solutions. The first used a step that Danny may not consider to be a VH+ step, so I found an alternate.
Quote: | xy-wing 27-8 with vertex in r8c8,
skyscraper 6 in r2c28.
On my first pass, I then used a Type 2 UR56 in r18c56, which I consider to be the same level of difficulty as a Type 1.
On my second pass, I skipped the UR and used a w-wing 28 in r4c5 & r6c8.

I also used three (one an AIC) Quote: | skyscraper 6
xy-wing 287
(8)r1c6 = r5c6 - r5c7 = (8-7)r1c7 = (7-6)r1c3 = (6-8) r4c3 = r4c5; r12c5,r5c6<>8 |

My three were an XY-Wing (6), ER (6) and Type 2 UR (56-. |

Ted: My lastest ranking of techniques can be found here. Your first solution qualifies!
I'm glad the recent BBDB postings are getting favorable responses!!!
Regards, Danny
Note: favourable to those of you outside The American Colonies!!! |
