Is this an unusual VH? Couldn't see any wings.
Possible solution? XY Chain on r2c5 r2c6 r4c6 r5c4 removes 6s from r4c5 r5c5 r2c4 and all falls

Your possible solution looks good, but I didn't verify that it completes, but probably does.

When you were doing your basics did you catch the 34678 quint in row 4? That exposed:

I didn't see it as a quint, but as a hidden pair for 15. This, in turn opened up the XYZ

You and I are opposites. In five years I've never spotted a hidden pair, rather, I have to look for the complementary triples, quads, etc.

I looked at r5c4 if 6 then r2c5=6 if 1 then via 15 & 25 r2c5 is 6. Unlike a normal chain that forbids it seems to offer! But of course it is the same XY chain identified earlier'
