Did I miss basics again? I haven't made a move, although I see the Type 4 UR on 17 which doesn't seem very helpful.

Code:

+---------------+-----------------+--------------+
| 1    2    4   | 38   358   7    | 35   6   9   |
| 8    35   6   | 4    9     2    | 357  135 157 |
| 579  3579 37  | 1    6     35   | 4    2   8   |
+---------------+-----------------+--------------+
| 267  4    278 | 3689 3578  3589 | 1    35  257 |
| 3    17   5   | 2    17    4    | 8    9   6   |
| 267  178  9   | 368  13578 358  | 2357 4   257 |
+---------------+-----------------+--------------+
| 4579 6    378 | 389  238   1    | 25   58  245 |
| 25   58   128 | 7    4     6    | 9    158 3   |
| 49   389  138 | 5    238   389  | 6    7   124 |
+---------------+-----------------+--------------+

I'm sure you're right Danny, but I can't see a thing. The only thing that happened after playing the UR is that the grid has two fewer 7s. Question Question Question

And it exposes the fourth bivalue cell in a 5-cell XY-Chain that does a lot of damage to the puzzle -- starting with two more eliminations on <7>.

Code:
 r56c25  <17> UR Type 4.2235             <> 7    r6c25

 +---------------------------------------------------------------+
 |  1     2      4     |  38    358   7     |  35    6     9     |
 |  8    b35     6     |  4     9     2     |  357   135   157   |
 |  579   359-7 a37    |  1     6     35    |  4     2     8     |
 |---------------------+--------------------+--------------------|
 |  267   4      28-7  |  3689  3578  3589  |  1     35    257   |
 |  3    e17     5     |  2     17    4     |  8     9     6     |
 |  267  d18     9     |  368   1358  358   |  2357  4     257   |
 |---------------------+--------------------+--------------------|
 |  4579  6      378   |  389   238   1     |  25    58    245   |
 |  25   c58     128   |  7     4     6     |  9     158   3     |
 |  49    389    138   |  5     238   389   |  6     7     124   |
 +---------------------------------------------------------------+
 # 81 eliminations remain

 (7=3)r3c3 - (3=5)r2c2 - (5=8)r8c2 - (8=1)r6c2 - (1=7)r5c2  =>  r3c2,r4c3<>7

A Locked Pair version for Peter w/o performing the UR Type 4:

Code:
 (7=3)r3c3 - (3=5)r2c2 - (5=8)r8c2 - (8=17)r56c2  =>  r3c2,r4c3<>7

Note: Either way, the puzzle still needs several steps.

Much easier to see after someone points it out to you. Thanks Danny.
