Hi!
I just put on-line (http://sudoku.connotech.com) a sudoku solver site.
Algorithm written from scratch, web server written from scratch (!).
Caveats:
the site may be down if bugs are revealed by increased usage;
the site uses a web session management technique that you may find somehow restrictive.
No advertisement, no trick, no cookie. My goal is to have a deployment milestone and operational experience with the underlying web server software, so thanks for using it.
For sudoku designers, the new algorithm may have some potential as a designer tool; some of its potential is offered on-line.
Enjoy, and feel free to provide feedback!

Ooops, I had an external connectivity problem.
I am confident that I fixed it, but your DNS server may not see the change for the next half hour.
In the meantime, you may try http://206.248.190.249/ if you see what I mean.
Thanks,

Hi again,
The site has been reachable by google site finder robot (from a reference by my previous message), and by hackers (attempting a buffer overflow attack) doing routine port scans. Both of these attempts had the server software crash (!). During development and test, I wished I had an HTTP torture test tool to find and troubleshoot these bugs earlier.
The site is running now. For how long, I don't know.
I should arrange a script to restart the server tasks after a crash. Also, I can arrange multiple instances answering at different IP ports. The level of service might be acceptable then.
I will post again when I feel the level of service might improve.
Thanks for your patience.

Hi!
I fixed a bug that was deemed to cause problems under moderate site load.
Thus, you are invited to visit
http://sudoku.connotech.com
Enjoy!
