That was what I found. There are a number of other moves I saw, including UR deductions, but none solves it.

Yes, but in R23 there are two URs, 26 and 36. Or, there is a DP 23 - 36 - 26.

Trying so hard to make something of them ...

Before I looked for Skyscrapers I noticed that simple coloring sets r1c7<>9 and pincer transport sets r1c8<>9, the same eliminations as the Skyscraper.
