Colouring from B9 shows that r4c4=4 which in turn solves B9 and the puzzle ...

Dan,
........... it also left me with the same result.
So, I strongly suspect that I failed to start with the original code after considering an earlier (useless) solution. Given some free time, I will try to resolve the situation.
