Basics didn't work for me but a 478 XYZ wing on 7s in boxes 3 and 9 made it fall apart quickly.

I'm with Kuskey, that xyz wing. (And good spot, roaa! I didn't see that other xyz wing.)

I distinguish between "basics" and "hard" steps. This puzzle was enjoyable for me because I found "hard" steps before and after the xyz wing. I suspect the "hard" steps weren't necessary, but I don't care.

I cannot see, however, a solution without one or other of the above-mentioned XYZ wings.
