All,
Here is a list of sites that currently host active Sudoku discussions. Please reply with your nominations, I will edit them in to this first post of the thread.

This is a pretty disappointing list so far. Are there any more nominations?

the Sudoku Assistenten Forum ( sudoku.frihost.net/forum/ ) still exists
and contains many interesting puzzles,
i'd hate to see it vanish
but the real users have vanished
and Håvard apparently stopped removing the spam ( since 2011.Oct ) |

Unfortunately, that seems to be all that's left. A Google search netted no other active sudoku forums.
The forum here seems to be focused on the latest published puzzles. The New Sudoku Players' Forum seems to be primarily about the "hardest" sudokus and the pattern game. The SudokuSolver forum of late has been mostly killer sudokus. The Sudoku Programmers' Forum hasn't had a post in almost two weeks now, and traffic in general there has dwindled to almost nothing.

It appears that spammers are being banned (or else being allowed to post spam without actually registering), but the spam isn't being deleted. As you say, all of the real users have left the building. |

This one is gone, and the domain is up for sale. |

No new posts in a year.
No longer exists.
Looks as though this one never got off the ground. No posts since the first month (almost three years ago).
General puzzles and games forum. Nothing sudoku-related in almost two years.
Not sure why this is in the list. Not sudoku-related at all.
Both of these are general puzzles forum. Almost nothing related to sudoku.
That leaves only three, which are the remaining three in the first post (since the demise of the Sudoku Programmers Forum):

The most recent puzzles to be released appear to be the emphasis of this discussion. The "hardest" sudokus and the pattern game seem to be the main topics of discussion on the New Sudoku Players' Forum. Killer sudokus have recently dominated the SudokuSolver community. Since approximately two weeks ago, there have been no new posts on the Sudoku Programmers' Forum, and activity there has virtually stopped. |
