Interesting indeed. So interesting that I can't seem to make enough of a dent in it to do anything.

I played a W-Wing on 12 and a Type 1 UR on 29, and that's where things stand.

Finally got it with a five-stepper.

1) W-Wing on 12
2) Type 1 UR on 29
3) Coloring on 5
4) XYZ-Wing on 148
5) XY-Wing on 16-5

Interesting in that there are two XY Chains
The one which makes many eliminations does not solve it.
XY Chain: (1=2)r6c6-(2=9)r2c6-(9=2)r2c4-(2-1)r9c4; r46c4<>1, r8c6<>1 does not solve it.
XY Chain: (2=1)r9c4-(1=5)r9c8-(5=4)r2c8-(4=5)r2c1-(5=4)r3c3-(4=8)r7c3-(8=2)r7c7; r9c7<>2; stte.

I looked all over te place for chains with no success.

Note: the first chain is basically the W-Wing on 12 with SL 2 in c5.
