Play this puzzle online at the Daily Sudoku site
I needed 3 standard VH moves for this: X-Wing on 2 r35, 359 XY-Wing
pivot r4c2 and finally XY-wing 239 pivot r6c3 to set it. Haven't looked for
quicker ways but I'll be amazed if no one else comes up with one.....

Hugh,
look at 9's in row 4
then a skyscraper 3 removes a 3 in r6c3 then singles
for vh look for an xyz-wing 239 in r56c3 and r6c4 |

The X wing removes the 2 from r6c3 to give a w wing 39 operating on 9s in row 5 to eliminate 3 at r6c4 giving a 3 at r4c2 ...... |

I think you should give us the original puzzle so that we can discuss about the answer. Look at your code, I cannot give any solution. |
