Part of the joy of solving by hand is that you occasionally find solutions no solver will. After basics:
Code: | +----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 7 468 4569 | 2 3 589 | 15 589 1568 |
| 589 2 569 | 1 4 589 | 7 3 568 |
| 589 1 3 | 89 6 7 | 25 2589 4 |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 3 5 1 | 4 9 6 | 8 7 2 |
| 4 7 2 | 5 8 1 | 9 6 3 |
| 6 9 8 | 3 7 2 | 145 45 15 |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+
| 2 48 49 | 89 5 3 | 6 1 7 |
| 589 3 7 | 6 1 89 | 24 24 58 |
| 1 68 56 | 7 2 4 | 3 58 9 |
+----------------+----------------+----------------+ |
Note the deadly pattern 24, 45, 25 in C78. Either R6C7 is 1, or R3C8 is 89.
If R6C7 is 1, R13C7 are 5, 2. So R3C8 is 89. This (R3C8 = 89) solves the puzzle. (In the solution, R6C7 is not 1.)

I struggled with this one. Using the 25-45-24 DP, I found some common outcomes from 1 in r6c1 and external 5s in r1c789 and r2c9. However, whatever I found didn't take me far enough and I was left with the position below, where the same DP => r3c8=9.
Code: |
+------------+----------+-----------+
| 7 48 469 | 2 3 589 | 1 59 68 |
| 589 2 69 | 1 4 589 | 7 3 68 |
| 589 1 3 | 89 6 7 | 25 259 4 |

| 3 5 1 | 4 9 6 | 8 7 2 |
| 4 7 2 | 5 8 1 | 9 6 3 |
| 6 9 8 | 3 7 2 | 45 45 1 |

| 89 3 7 | 6 1 89 | 24 24 5 |
