I don't know if any of you do the puzzles easier than VH. This one had me completely flummoxed. I was pretty sure I hadn't missed any basics, hadn't merely made a mistake and hadn't found any of the advanced patterns I know (just wings of various flavors), but before asking for help, I checked a solution site sudoku-solutions dot com, which listed five solutions.
Anyone seen this happen before? |

Hi blindleadrer, It looks like you accidentally included both 1 and 6 as candidates in r6c9 but the starting grid has a 1 in that cell! Thanks, Don. |

Damn! I always check my copy two different ways. First time I've missed, and it was a bad one.
I shouldn't be surprised. Sudokus are getting noticeably harder as I age, but for now I'm going to blame the quarantine for this. Yeah, that's the ticket. |
