To solve this one I needed an X-wing on7 and an XY-wing on 479. I think I may have used an X-wing once or twice before in a squiggly, but the XY-wing was a first for me. Did anyone else come across it, or did I not really need it?

P.S. on revisiting, the X-wing wasn't actually required. The XY-wing (pivot at R6C4) unlocks the remaining puzzle on its own. |

Yes, I found it to be an unusually difficult Squiggly VH. Most Squigglies, including VHs, are not that difficult due to the L.O.L. It is unusual that they require more than LOL and locked sets/candidates. |
