After encountering an x-wing and swordfish I wound up here on today's Brainbasher Super Hard

I solved it with a skyscraper as shown. I am really into W and M wings. I know there is something here on (89) Help! |

I think the x-wings and the swordfish might be the way to go. after the swordfish is a xy-wing on {3,8,9} stretching from corner to corner eliminating the 9 in r9c1

I could suggest an xy-wing:
all 4 corners, 89-38-39. It has a "89" in it, AND
it could be viewed as a (generalized) m-wing:
if r9c9 is not 9, then r1c9=8, r1c4=3. But then r1c1=9.
Same elimination but viewed as a m-wing (9) from the other end:
if r1c1=8 then r4c9=8 then r9c9=9. this one uses both 89's |

Someday I will get a handle on the W and M-wings. I was looking so hard for the w-wing I missed the xy-wing altogether.
Thanks for your help |
