I enjoyed this puzzle very much..........

This grid was very cluttered and I had nothing but a couple of ERs on 1 when I hit the wall. But I noticed an X-Wing on 5 which opened up an XY-Wing on 386 and a puzzle-ending W-Wing on 18.

Many times you and I have very similar solutions since we both are somewhat mechanical oriented and follow a regular sequence when looking for patterns. However, this time we greatly deviated. Interesting........

Ted, it looks like you continued looking for X-Wings, whereas I stopped after I found one. I hate looking for X-Wings and generally look as a last resort. Perhaps it's because I don't know how to look efficiently. See Keith's post in the Solving Techniques sub-forum.
