I initially missed an easy step but when I found it, it setup up a variation on a standard move that completed the puzzle.
Quote: | skyscraper in r7c28 deletes 8 in r4c79, r5c3
Flightless xyz-wing 789in r8c1:
(7)r8c1; r9c123<>7,
(8)r8c1 - (8=7)r7c2; r9c123<>7,
(9)r8c1 - (9=7)r8c5 - r8c9 = r9c9; r9c123<>7,

I don't know if any of my early moves had any effect: ER (8), Type 1 UR (49), and Hidden URs (24, 29). But then multi-coloring (8) and an XYZ-Wing (147) closed it out. |

Sounds like there was a skyscraper within my multi-coloring on 8 and that my early moves weren't a factor. |
