I found a straightforward one-stepper for this one..

(I dont know what an M-wing is, more research needed, so hope I am not going against the convention of this group...)

Quote:

XY-chain starting r4c3 (4) ending r2c5 (4); r2c3<>4

Great puzzles by the way!

[Edited] Having now researched W-Wings, it seems this might be a degenerate case where the remote pair is connected by a simple bivalue chain turning it into a simple XY-chain?

There is an m-wing that solves it....I think.
Code:
 *--------------------------------------------------------------------*
 | 1      359    7      | 239    6      258    | 25     4      38     |
 | 3468   3568   34568  | 23     45     1      | 256    9      7      |
 | 3469   3569   2      | 379    457    58     | 56     1      38     |
 |----------------------+----------------------+----------------------|
 | 24     1      45     | 8      3      25     | 7      6      9      |
 | 7      39     39     | 6      1      4      | 8      5      2      |
 | 268    2568   568    | 27     57     9      | 4      3      1      |
 |----------------------+----------------------+----------------------|
 | 238    238    38     | 5      9      6      | 1      7      4      |
 | 5      7      1      | 4      2      3      | 9      8      6      |
 | 69     4      69     | 1      8      7      | 3      2      5      |
 *--------------------------------------------------------------------*
m-wing(5=4)r2c5-r2c3=(4-5)r4c3=r4c6; r13c6,r6c5<>5
Also a w-wing 45 that removes a 4 from r2c3

Guess I took the long way. X-Wing (8), M-Wing (39) using both the 3 and the 9, Skyscraper (3) and W-Wing (45).
