This puzzle is more difficult that the title implies. More like Advanced!!! |

Nice one Danny!
Three steps including the twist (unless there is another one!)
Quote: | UR(58) UR(48) overlap; r9c9=5, r6c8=9 (you can play it in two moves with the UR(48) for example as an "Avoidable rectangle" with three corners placed.)
x-wing(1) r26c3<>1, r3c6<>1
xy-wing(46-1) r3c6; r2c8<>1 | I spent a bit of time trying to find some BUG-Lite logic in the trail of 14s - but failed. An extraneous x-chain on 4 was alll that came from it - for me at any rate. |

Danny, your title for this puzzle encouraged me to look for interesting or unusual things. It was fun..........
I essentially did the same process as Peter and also used the UR that was not a VH step, but I assumed that was the "twist".
The only thing I found with all the 14s was a Remote Pair that did not shorten the number of steps (and was not a VH step). I also pursued the two overlapping AUR16 in r12c36 & r23c68, but was only able to get a wimpy r2c6<>1 result which was not useful.

The overlapping URs was the twist that I saw. I have two more puzzles like this that I'll drop into the mix every now and then. |

I guess I didn't notice overlapping URs.
Type 1 UR (58)
Remote Pairs (14)
Potential 45 DP in boxes 14; either way of killing it solves box 3 the same way. |
