Being totally frank here....this one has me stumped. My skills are simply not up to the task. I can take it only so far... then I am stuck.

Hoping this excellent community can find a path, or paths that I can be enlightened with.

Thank you all for all of your input....enjoy the puzzle.

Sorry i found a typing error in the fourth fin x-wing

instead of

6 fin x-wing (column 3, column 7, fin 6 R8C3)=>-6 R8C3

I meant

6 fin x-wing (column 3, column 7, fin 6 R8C3)=>-6 R7C2

Ciao a Tutti

For this kind of question, go here:

http://www.saueregger.at/sudoku/HSH/HSH.htm?

Cut and paste the puzzle, then click "Automate basics" and "Do it".

Then, "Advanced methods" and "Do it".

You will then see a list of advanced moves, ordered roughly by the difficulty a pencil & paper human solver would agree with.

As you click on each advanced move, the grid will highlight the cells involved.

I love this tool.

Thanks Keith, the Helper guided me to the end. I spotted the XY-Wing on 2 w/49, but I didn't know they could have transports. An XY-Chain worked just as well on 4. Just wasn't seeing it this time.

If you use the XY-Wing with the transport then r9c1<>2, as is r7c6<>2.
The XY-Chain leads to r5c1<>4. Turned out to be pretty simple once the light bulb was illuminated. This after the skyscrapers, the 2-string kite, and the XYZ-Wing.

I don't mind getting stumped once in a while, it usually means I may be about to learn something new.

Thanks again.
