The Sudoku National Championship was just completed in Philly. I'm sure the final puzzle is somewhere on the web, but I can't find it. Has anyone else locted it?

Using Crunched's grid above, in blocks 7,8, and 9 there is a pattern of six 259s with one including a 3. Can we assume that similar to a rectangle, the one including the 3 must always be a 3?

Can I always assume the 1279 cell reduces to 9?

I read the FAQ, too. That's why I have no idea how the number is derived. I think the FAQ must be a translation from ancient Norwegian.
