I got this sudoku from a local newspaper. It's rated as just Hard but I cant seem to get beyond this. The Draw/Play function on this site says the next move is a 2 in r7c6 but I cant seem to figure ... |

Never mind ...I knew after working on it for 2 days, that soon after I posted it I would find the solution. A hidden pair (27) in row 1, col 7 and 9 did the trick. I must be losing my tou ... |

OK, I give up. I found the x wings with the 3s and the naked triple in col 9 but now I dont understand why r6c8 is a 4. Can anyone explain? thankyou |

Does this logic have a name ? On the Sept 3 sudoku I got stuck and then noticed a relationship among 4 pairs that looked like this:
26---25
68---58
Starting with the 26 pair, the 25 becomes a 5, ... |
