Searched for a new pattern today, these two are solvable with VH methods plus UR, skysraper/kite (turbot fish, coloring) and w-wing

the first puzzle...
I'll start with the URs
Code: | 16 3 8 | 7 4 125 | 56 126 9
2 76 167 | 58 9 358 | 45 34 16
4 9 5 | 12 6 123 | 8 1237 127
------------------------------------------------------------------
9 5 26 | 26 8 4 | 3 17 17
76 1 3 | 9 5 76 | 2 8 4
78 248 24 | 3 1 27 | 69 69 5
------------------------------------------------------------------
5 2468 2469 | 468 7 68 | 1 2469 3
3 467 14679 | 1456 2 156 | 469 469 8
168 2468 1246 | 1468 3 9 | 7 5 26 |
a very nice type 2 UR on {6,9} in boxes 6 and 9 eliminates the 4s in r8c234 and r7c8
then the {1,7} UR in boxes 3 and 6, removes 1 from r3c89
then the {6,7} UR in boxes 1 and 7 removes the 6 from r28c3
edit:
there are some steps in between, especially between the {1,7} UR and the {6,7} UR

the second puzzle...
Code: | 3 7 5 | 9 248 128 | 46 18 246
4 2 9 | 17 6 158 | 58 37 13
1 6 8 | 247 3 25 | 9 57 24
------------------------------------------------------------------
8 9 46 | 1246 24 7 | 456 35 15
56 1 3 | 468 458 9 | 7 2 46
2 45 7 | 3 45 16 | 68 18 9
------------------------------------------------------------------
56 58 1 | 268 9 268 | 3 4 7
7 48 46 | 68 1 3 | 2 9 5
9 3 2 | 5 7 4 | 1 6 8 |
the x-wing on 1 removes the 1 in r2c6
leads too...
Code: | 3 7 5 | 9 248 R1(2)8 | 46 G1R8 246
4 2 9 | 17 6 G5R8 | R5G8 37 13
1 6 8 | 247 3 G2R5 | 9 57 24
------------------------------------------------------------------
8 9 46 | 1246 24 7 | 456 35 15
56 1 3 | 468 458 9 | 7 2 46
2 45 7 | 3 45 16 | 68 18 9
------------------------------------------------------------------
56 58 1 | 268 9 268 | 3 4 7
7 48 46 | 68 1 3 | 2 9 5
9 3 2 | 5 7 4 | 1 6 8 |
start medusa coloring in r2c6 {5,8}
the 2 in r1c6 shares a cell with a red 1 and sees a green 2 in r3c6... not allowed... the 2 in r1c6 is history. which breaks it. |
