Am I the first to post a Medium? I always hoped that one day I’d come up with something innovative.
In any event, I do them all – Easy’s, Mediums, Hards, VHs – whatever shows up with my morning coffee. I thought today’s Medium was tricky - particularly since there are no 6’s. Try it without pencil marks. |

I agree, and coffee probably tastes better with sudoku |

Congratulations (assuming you're the first to post a medium).
I also do all of them. Any medium I determine to solve without pencil marks. A hard that doesn't need pencil marks I think of as medium. I expect any "hard" not to need "wings".
For a year or two now, to me "very hard" means needing one or more x-wings, swordfishes, xy-wings or xyz-wings, but I've never had to use any other "advanced" technique. (I don't like URs and similar controversial methods. I understand and would be comfortable with short-chain logic but it seems some think that's heading towards trial-and-error.) |
