I've always been able to solve puzzles on this site with wings (X, XY and XYZ). But I am stuck on today's at this point:

Does this puzzle require some other technique or have I just lost it? If the latter, please break the news to me gently

As one who doesn't see hidden pairs, I see them as their complementary subsets, in this case a naked quint.
As to the XY-Wing, I had three candidates in the pivot cell but it worked as an XYZ-Wing for a one-step solution. |

| I did not use the hidden pair/naked quint, but an x-wing (5) r68c34, which opened an xy-wing 58-28-25 in boxes 4 and 5. |

Thank you all. Obviously my brain was still numb during this morning's cuppa. A fresh look now after a day of 'cut and thrust' in the office and the XY wing leapt off the page.

| Used an x and xy wing but it took a while. I'm still a bit shaken up by traumatic events of past week. My daughter married an American ! |
