An xy-wing (489) or an xyz-wing (289) will do it in one step.

PS With practice skills improve. Perhaps there should be a level above VH in the rotation. |

Don't hold your breath. It's been about six months since my last communication with Sam. He was very busy with a lot of things going on. He also hasn't posted since summer 2007, so I'd be surprised if he had time available to work on puzzle generation. |

That's a coincidence - I was prepared to suggest the same thing. The one-steppers are getting boring.
There was also a Type 4 UR (86) in there. |

Looking at the minimal reponses to this puzzle, I can't help sensing a decline in interest. Today, as usual, I tried the "Other Puzzle" as an alternative - but as usual - I found it way too innaccessible. I think there is reasonable cause to discuss improvements for the VHs.
