I used two ERs and an X-Wing before turning to my Medusa crutch. After that, an XY-Wing Chain (48-89-89-89-49) finished it off.
Danny, as to your comment in the other thread about my perseverance, yes I do persevere, I can't stand to leave a puzzle unsolved, even if it means brute force trial-and-error. |

I found a three step solution without a xyz-wing.
x-wing <8> r38c67,
w-wing <49> r3c4 & r5c7 with strong ling <9> col8,
kite <4> with pivot in box9.
