My first pass at this puzzle involved six steps, but my second pass only required two. Quote: | x-wing on 6 (similar to Dan),
xy-wing 569 with pivot 56 in r4c6 and transporting pincer r6c4 to r7c9 via r7c4 to delete 9 in r4c9.
