Very nice UR Norm. Easy enough to see after the fact, but I always forget to look for those things. Using Norm's grid, an ER on 1 removes the 1 from r6c1.

Now we have one of those mixed W-Wings. In row 1, if c1 is 8, then r6c1 is 2, if r1c6 is 8, then r7c2 is 2 and those pincers open up the puzzle for an X-Wing and Type 1 UR on 34. Thanks to Norm for that technique, it has come in very handy at times. |
