After solving a game, I've found that if a puzzle checks one way (across, down or box), it also checks the other two ways (at least everytime I've tried a check.) So, is it generally true that a check one way will also be right in the other two ways? If not, how about 2 out of 3? I would think it would have to be a pretty wicked game to require all three ways to be checked. Probably a game I wouldn't be able to finish anyway.
