The August 1 DB was a lulu for me !
There has to be an easier way.
If Norm finds a single step, I'll buy him a beer.
Solution: UR, xy-wing, finned x-wing, xy-wing, w-wing, xy-wing extended, xy-chain eliminating 9 from R6C4.

| Unless I made a mistake - 2 stepper: w-wing 46 in boxes 8 and 9, xy wing in box 5 and 8 eliminates the 3s in c5 and the the 3 in r9,c6 which solves the puzzle. |

| In Dan's grid there is a 2-36 XY-wing in C23 that does not solve it. |

It took me a bunch of steps, ending with an XY-Wing (796) and W-Wing (26), both with pincer transport.
As Earl said, a real "lulu." |

If I understand your question correctly, just click under the grid Earl posted and you're all set for online play.
For non-clickable puzzles that are entered, see this thread about the format tool that Nataraj developed for us; it's a gift that keeps on giving.

You're right. I somehow missed the elimination of the 4 in R7C4, leaving the XY wing. The real issue though was that I somehow eliminated the 4 from R8C7, which I couldn't reconstruct, amounting to a lucky guess!
I really should have known that I couldn't have found a two-stepper if noone else on this board did!

As luck would have it, or as my ignorance would have it, the puzzle here has a grid with a place to click it for online play. So my question made no sense here. But as you pointed out, there is an awesome gift page from Nataraj that works wonderfully for those grids that are "non-clickable". Thanks.

I don't understand what all of the fuss was about for this particular puzzle. Both my husband and I solved it with a simple UR type 1.  This was the easiest DB in a long time.
