The XYZ-Wing isn't needed to get around the XY-Chain, but my workaround is not something I'd normally find.

Code:
 +-----------------------+
 | 9 . . | . . . | 4 6 . |
 | . 1 . | . 9 . | 8 . . |
 | . . . | . . . | . 9 5 |
 |-------+-------+-------|
 | . . . | . 6 . | . . 4 |
 | . 6 . | 3 . . | . 7 9 |
 | . . . | . . . | 6 3 . |
 |-------+-------+-------|
 | 4 8 . | . . 1 | . 5 . |
 | 1 . 7 | . 5 6 | 9 4 . |
 | . . 6 | 9 8 . | . . 7 |
 +-----------------------+

how about after ss brings it to here: skip the xyz wing and...

Code:
.-----------------.---------------.----------.
| 9    27@   358  | 58   2-7 358  | 4   6  1 |
| 6-7  1     45@  | 46   9   57@  | 8   2  3 |
| 36   24@   2348 | 46   1   238  | 7   9  5 |
:-----------------+---------------+----------:
| 37   279   23   | 15   6   279  | 15  8  4 |
| 258  6     124  | 3    24  258  | 15  7  9 |
| 58   4579  14   | 158  47  5789 | 6   3  2 |
:-----------------+---------------+----------:
| 4    8     9    | 7    3   1    | 2   5  6 |
| 1    3     7    | 2    5   6    | 9   4  8 |
| 25   25    6    | 9    8   4    | 3   1  7 |
'-----------------'---------------'----------'

go with
wxyz wing aka:
Almost Locked Set XZ-Rule: A=r2c36 {457}, B=r13c2 {247}, X=4, Z=7 => r1c5,r2c1<>7

i found 3 more in the same band but this one does the most damage...

'---------------------'---------------------'---------------------'

interesting that this UR inference makes the same elimination as the wxyz-wing shown by strmckr

the 9's are locked into a x-wing in the U cells
a 7 is in each of the cells also.
UR79r46c26
notice that there is one other 7 in column 2 and a group of 7's in column 6.

1...UR79[(7)r1c2 = (7)r12c6]; r1c5 <> 7

2... xy-wing {2,4,5} removes 5 from r1c2

I started with a xy-wing 24-5 with pivot 24 in r3c2 that deletes 5 in r1c2.
Then another xy-wing -257 with pivot 57 in r2c6 and pseudocell 25 in box1 deletes the 2 in r1c2 to complete the puzzle.

I never got around to looking for a xyz-wing.
