Re the dearth of VH's lately - I recall Marty saying that they occur one in four on average, so I did a quick check of the last one hundred days:
VH = 24
H = 32
M = 30
E = 14
Looks like you were right Marty! Interesting that there are fewer Easy puzzles and the gap seems to made up with Ms and Hs.
For November to date (today's is an M by the way, for those who haven't seen it yet):
VH = 5
H = 7
M = 8
E = 4
By the law of averages we're due for at least 2, if not 3, VHs before month's end. But then Murphy always gets last say. Don't you just love statistics! |
