The hint places a '5' in R1C7. Can someone explain why? Hopefully I haven't missed something pretty basic. |

The 2 right-side 3X3 boxes have their 5s in only c6 and c8.
Therefore the box that includes r1c9 can only have a 5 in r1c7. |
