I solved this puzzle with no pencilings, so it must have only been a "hard"

hi Auburnmom,
I just want to clarify something.
does your statement mean that you didn't use any x,xy,xyz - wings?
or
does your statement mean that you spotted those patterns without the use of pencil marks? |

I used the same xyz wing as Clement. I usually start looking for xy and xyz wings from the bottom of the grip, so it was the second one I tried. Yawn.
