I used more moves than needed, but had fun with them.

Quote:
M-Wing (49) takes out the 9 from r1c1

UR 29 roof cells have a 68 pseudo cell which works with two other cells to form a triple

M-Wing (38)

Hidden UR (38), used twice

XYZ-Wing (458)

XY-Wing (495)

Please help. I cannot find that m-wing and - after basics and the UR 29 (type 4 - strong link "2" in column 1 says r78c1<>9):
Code:

+--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------+
| 389     2       589      | 49      57      349      | 6       378     1        |
| 4       1       69       | 8       67      39       | 5       37      2        |
| 368     58      7        | 1       56      2        | 4       38      9        |
+--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------+
| 1       9       3        | 6       4       5        | 7       2       8        |
| 5       48      48       | 2       1       7        | 3       9       6        |
| 7       6       2        | 3       9       8        | 1       45      45       |
+--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------+
| 26      45      1        | 7       8       49       | 29      456     3        |
| 28      7       4589     | 459     3       6        | 29      1       45       |
| 69      3       4569     | 459     2       1        | 8       456     7        |
+--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------+

best I can do is use the UR 38 in r13c18 to remove 8 from r3c1, but that does not get me very far...

Of course, there is an xy-chain from r2c6 to r3c8 (39 49 45 58 38), but I was hoping for a solution without chains.

I hadn't played the UR so I had a 9 in r7c1 and made a mistake by extending the 9 from r7c6 to r7c1, oblivious to the 3rd 9 in r7.

Sorry.

Thanks, Marty!

I noticed a small handful of more or less flightless wings. Would have been great to see one of them take off...

Norm, that is a beautiful ALS Exclamation

It is also nice that it is a one step solution but it is a great move in any case.
