My initial solution was similar to the one already posted by Peterj, so I tried another pass using different techniques.

Sashimi swordfish 4 in r359c168; r8c1<>4
ALS179[((9)r46c2 = (1)r4c2]r46c2 - r4c89 = r5c8 - r9c8 = r8c7 - (1=9)r8c1; r8c2<>9.
Interesting ALS124[(14)r2c37 = (2)r2c3]r2c37 - (2=1)r4c3 - r4c89 = (1)r5c8 R2c8<>1.
But now the chain can be continued: (1)r5c8 - (1=4)r9c8 - r8c7 = (4)r2c7; r2c5689<>4.
Type 1 UR 79 in r46c29; r4c9<>79,

At this point I did not easily find further steps so I simply used the last step of the original post, which seemed to be required to solve the puzzle.

Ted

Very similar to Peter, except it was a simple Skyscraper on 1 which led to a puzzle-ending X-Wing on 4.
